When working with clients, presenting designs in low-fidelity provides focused feedback on usability instead of the look and feel. The iterations and refinements, in low fidelity, reduces the risk of a terrible unusable but beautiful looking design.
Changes are easier to make on low commitment wireframes which reduce the risk of cost from the time spent changing the designs.
Next time I would go even lower with the fidelity by replacing text elements with blocks and abstracting shapes of any details to enable more time iterating from feedback to a great user experience.
